Hello All,

Quick question regarding admissions to Temple and Villanova.

I am a non-urm.

159 LSAT (retaking in June)
3.5 ugpa
3.3 lsac.

Philadelphia, PA resident.
Working for the 1st Judidical Court of PA in Philadelphia currently.

My question is.. is there a significant boost for PA residents?
Also does anyone know if working for the city of Philadelphia helps at all during admissions.
I would preferably like to hear from someone who was/is in a similar position to me.
I know I can check predictor websites for my numbers but im just interested in hearing about residency and post ugrad employment.

Thanks!

No real boost for being a local. Temple doesnt have specific in state quotas. Definitely retake for a better shot at getting in and more importantly getting scholarship money.

Id actually think you'd be in at both. You meet temples median GPA and LSAT

Does anyone think they have a grasp on how this past cycle went in regards to the two schools?

Temple was stingy with money, Nova was generous. LSN looks pretty standard.

Nelson,

I am guessing you attend one of these schools.
How are the job prospects looking?
