4.0 but not softs... 170 lsat, K-JD, work experience is pretty much just some construction sort of stuff... but i have a recommendation from
nancy grace lol... but say I had a recommendation from her... does that make a difference? Chance me

If you actually have a 170 LSAT, I'd think you have a reasonable shot. It's actually probably better to have a LOR from a professor(s) that knows you really well. Stanford is a bit of a black box, so there's never really a "guarantee" per se. But hey.

If your work experience is construction stuff and you have no softs (which is basically impossible, I assume you mean you have mediocre softs) then how do you know
nancy grace? If she's an acquaintance or a family friend, do not ask her to write you a recommendation. You have a shot with your numbers, but soft factors are important for Stanford and it sounds like you're pretty weak in that area.

Pretty sure they go out of their way to say they don't want letters from famous people/senators but rather people who know about your academic abililities

nancy grace to voucher for my law school application given her multiple misconducts as a prosecutor.
