How much should a 3.5/174 applicant be worried about a school disciplinary record for a fake id and monor possestion affecting their chances of getting into law school and past the BAR backround checks

You GPA and LSAT wont help your C & F issues.
It depends on what kind of charge you got for the fake ID and how it looks on your record. I don't think it is a big deal for most but I knew someone who was charged with an identity theft felony for for using a fake ID. The charges were not dropped or reduced (she was stupid and did not get a lawyer) and it has precluded her from doing many things including law school.

Thanks for the reply, the charges are non criminal just in the school disciplinary file

Just disclose everything on your app and if it is minor should be okay.
