This post is actually for a friend of mine who recently found out he received a 175 on his February LSAT. There are no extenuating circumstances that explain his GPA. We were wondering what his chances were at T-14 schools next cycle. I'll admit that I'm living vicariously through him, I think it would be pretty awesome to send him off to MVP, Cornell, Duke, something like that.
Thoughts on his shot at T-14, TLS? Maybe receive $$$ from UCLA/USC if he wants to live somewhere sunny? His parents are practicing attorneys so worst case scenario he has the firm as a fallback option.

Tell him to look at LSN.
He will have trouble gaining entry to UCLA/USC with that GPA. I highly doubt he'd get significant, if any, $.

Doing that as we speak. But snarky analysis from TLSers is always useful/usually entertaining.

Re: 175/3.2
FWIW, I got into UCLA with a 3.35 and a 173 with little to no effort put into my application, so I don't think it's out of reach.
I think your friend has a good shot at MVP down. If he has a preference, he should ED, unless money is a huge priority.

I was WL'd at UCLA with a 3.2/171 I've heard they're not too kind to splitters, but I can't verify that. Ditto on MVP down. Congrats to your friend on the 175!
