I am a History major at a well-respected liberal arts school with a 3.6 overall GPA. I'm planning on applying for Fall 2013 and on taking the LSAT in October... what score should I aim for with my GPA that would give me a shot at T14 schools?

Get a 172+ and you are pretty much a guarantee for Top 10. I think Columbia on down is very realistic. Probably no shot at HYS unless you bust out a 180 or have some extraordinary softs (you weren't in the symphony orchestra at age 9 were you?). Even then it'll be a crap shoot. With a 170 you'll probably still get in some T14 places but you wont get to be choosey.

Get a 170+ and apply early. One of MVP should bite.
