I am interested in applying to several law schools next year with the aim of getting into IP/Patent Law.

Maybe not in admissions but definitely in getting a job. I know a 1L here who got two Cs on his finals last semester, but had offers from firms before grades even came out - he had a master's in chemical engineering.

you need at least one from a professor. preferably two.

what if I work for a few years and then apply?
