Not for me, for a friend. Interesting softs, such as intern in DC with State Dept for 6 months, another internship with a highly visible political figure, a masters, multilingual. Also foreign-born, not a URM. What would you say the odds would be for them to get G full or part-time? I know there are many soft factors, which I think might be significant enough for her to outperform those numbers, but I didn't know if anyone had any idea at all what someone with these credentials could expect. Thanks.

Not much of a chance FT. She's significantly below both medians and not a URM. Her softs are incredibly average, they won't help her much at all. She'll probably get PT, though it's not a guarantee.

Thanks for the input, that's about what I thought. I don't know how much easier it is to get in PT, if it is at all. But hopefully those huge class sizes help. Btw, why do you find her softs so average?

Internships in the federal govt and with politicians are a dime a dozen. Masters degree- same thing. Multilingual and foreign-born I'm not too sure about but they don't usually help too much. They're definitely above-average for the median law school applicant, but tons of kids applying to GULC and GW have experience on the hill.

I would also not assume PT. Hard to say except through anecdotal evidence, but GULC seems to be accepting less traditional applicants through the PT program after the USNWR ranking switch. I think you need a compelling reason, more than ever before, to want to do PT

Deployed to Afghanistan.
And West Point alum. So, strong softs. Much stronger than OP and not a representative candidate really.
