Have you seen LSN? They roughly accept all the way down to 3.0.

Also, you're applying to Penn and UVa, so I'm not sure why you think you don't have a chance at Michigan.

Okay I feel like all the schools I applied to were reach schools...which safeties should I consider?
Also, I don't really want to go to a regional school because I'm not sure where I want to practice. I want to go to the best nationally recognized school I can get into.

Hahah. Wants safeties. Doesn't want to go to a regional school. Has a 3.1 GPA. Doesn't add up.

Yes. That's sort of the distinction or why the T14 is the T14, if you will.

I heard vandy was pretty regional..anyway whats best for nyc, dc, ca?

Huh? Yeah Vandy is outside of the T14 so it is regional. Did you think it was in the T14? I'm confused.

On to your nest question. Best for NY (outside of CN, obviously), would be Fordham with your numbers. For DC, other than Gtown you could consider GW (although I wouldn't), and for CA your numbers might make you competitive for UCLA or USC, although they tend to favor high GPA's. Also if I were you I'd apply to BC/BU, which do well in the Boston market and can also get you into NY better than other regional schools.

I'd still say Vandy is regional. I mean its region is a bit bigger than most (as opposed to just one city its region is sort of the south), but its not national.

Your cycle will definitely change. Even if BU is the best school you end up at, you'll get much better scholarship with a 170, and I think you'll snag somewhere in the bottom of the T14
