Top Law Schools

Hi, the top three schools I'm applying to are Minnesota, ND, and UofI. I have a decent LSAT of 167.

My GPA (at Ohio State) isn't that great (3.47) because of a poor senior year. I am epileptic and during my senior year I was having nocturnal grand mal seizures frequently. These often left me unable to get out of bed in the morning, and when I could get out I was in a hangover-like state that often follows the day of a seizure. This impacted my attendance and my performance on midterms and finals. For the past three years, I have been seizure free. I am including an addendum to address this issue.

I am 25 and have been out of school for three years. One year I spent doing Americorps on an Indian reservation; I spent six months as a corrections officer at a women's prison, and I spent the last year as a director of a non profit I founded. The mission of the non-profit is to achieve repeal of the death penalty in South Dakota through legislative means.

Anybody have any thoughts on my admission chances for Minnesota, Notre Dame, or Indiana?

You probably have a decent shot at Indiana, they are excited about most scores at or over 167, but apply early. They are usually good about scholly money but this year seems to be a little less generous, so you never know what they will do next year.

This person got into Michigan with the same stats. While I wouldn't count on that, you should be fine at all/most of the Midwestern T30s save WUSTL. At that point, look at scholarships and job market location preferences to pick one.
