UVA Fee Waiver Today - What to do?

I didn't apply to UVA because I was applying kind of late anyway, and it seemed like a waste of $100 for a school that doesn't like out of state applicants... But then I got a fee waiver today. It's veeery late in the cycle at this point, so is it even a good idea to send an app?

I have 3.7/173 retake.

of course you should send in an app. There's no reason not to

I'm also in the same position - received a fee waiver but I can't possibly figure out why. 3.7 / 166, non-URM. Should I bother?

Well, I don't necessarily need a(nother) rejection... :D

The opinion on TLS seems to be that UVA strongly favors early applicants and targeted applications, and I have neither for them :|

Also recieved this fee waiver, came here to ask this very question. 162, 3.94 URM. really is there a point applying? I haven't heard from any OTHER schools except for vandy however, even though I applied Mid-October, so throw another $16?

Sorry to Hijack your thread OP!

I think most people on this thread are over thinking this a bit. I received the fee waiver like the rest of you, and while I know my chances are diminished by applying late in the cycle, I don't think that are minute. Look at lsn. There are a number of people who applied late in the cycle, with #'s like mine and other people on this thread, who got in. Now if you decide not to apply, great. Better chance for me. But I think some of you stand a decent chance and you're being kind of silly not to apply.

I received this fee waiver yesterday, and I had paid the fee to apply a week earlier...which kind of sucks.
