Top Law Schools

Hey all,
Alright I'm non-URM with a 3.37 from a music conservatory and have a 156 LSAT score (I know, I know... retake it blah blah blah). Good softs (Eagle Scout, Military, 4 years FT work experience at Apple while doing undergrad, HLS internship) and fairly well written personal statement by my judgement. Currently a Michigan resident.
What are my chances? Any ideas of other schools to apply? Here's where I applied and current statuses:
I am excited to at least be on hold at Illinois at least! Hopefully this is a sign of a pretty good shot at some higher ranked schools

so that means you aren't considering a retake?

Retake or don't go due to bad economic prospects.

Definitely considering a retake, but if I can get into one of these schools (thinking I might be able to because of the hold at Illinois) without having to wait another year, that would be awesome

UIUC is insanely expensive bro. Any GI bill left? Also this is the school that had a fairly lulzy admissions scandal, so keep that in mind.

True man, from what I've heard, they have been a bit all over the place this year. Perhaps it's not necessarily the best representation of how other schools will react.

Luckily I have my whole GI Bill left and a good amount of savings put away for law school with no undergrad debt. I'd say realistically, looking to be in about 10-20k after 3 years and that's mostly living expenses related. I can also claim in-state tuition because I moved to Illinois a few months ago because of a work related transfer.

I'm planning to drive down to the campus tomorrow and speak to the Director of Admissions... hopefully it will help move me into accepted. What do you think? Thanks for the suggestions by the way.
