I would like to give my friend some solid advice from all you TLS experts. He is not going to retake.

Then your friend has already made up his mind and doesn't need TLS advice.

Very helpful.

Everyone here who knows what they are talking about are going to suggest retaking. If your friend wants to limit his options with a mediocre LSAT score, there's really nothing else to say.

Additionally, all you asked for was "advice". You didn't provide a school list, a rankings spectrum, or even a region to work in. Maybe then, we could be a little bit more helpful.

Highest ranked. I don't think region matters to him. He has mentioned BC.

If anyone can suggest some good "reach" schools for him to apply to I would appreciate it.

Maybe ED to UVA.

BC also has a decent shot as you mentioned before.

I see you go to GW. What do you think his chances would be there?

I don't really know - they seem to be WL/rejecting people with really good numbers this year. I'm not sure what's going on with the admissions office.

That being said, I wouldn't advise him to go to GW without significant money, which he won't get. This school's just not as great as its ranking. If he gets into one of the Boston schools, that's the way to go.

Yeah, I already said it but some people just won't listen! Retake is really the best option given he could get a T6 with that GPA.

Given my first post...I was obviously asking for the second best option.

In any case, thanks for the relevant info.
