Top Law Schools

As the subject line said my numbers are 3.52/175. I graduated from University of Southern California in 2011 with a business degree. I was a hospital corpsman in the Navy from 2001-2006 and I did a tour each in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was awarded a silver star and a purple heart during my service. I figure I could get T14, but what about HYS? What kind of money could I potentially get as well? Any insight will be appreciated.

Stanford might be your best bet, but it's still a long shot. HYS rarely takes GPAs that low, but Stanford takes a vet or two each year with splitter numbers. Aid is only need-based at HYS if you do manage to snag one. Outside of those three you have a decent shot at the rest of the T-14, but serious money is unlikely to come from anywhere worth attending.

I have been debating whether to apply as Native American. I'm 1/4 Blackfoot, but I have always checked Caucasian box. If I apply as Native American, will that tip the balance in any way in my favor? Is 1/4 not enough?

1/4 is enough. The cut-off for most things Native American is 1/8.

Are you officially enrolled in a tribe? I would put that down too if you are.

I feel like this might present some C&F issues down the road if they compare your undergraduate application to your law school application and note this discrepancy.
