153 LSAT Score (not going to take again)
3.72 GPA (Will go up after this semester probably to around a 3.76)
Senior at Rutgers University

Just got wait listed at Hofstra Law. What are my chances of getting in off of the wait list?
Also, RU Law Newark is my #1 School. What are my chances of getting in there?

Take a year off, retake, reapply, or don't go.

+1

OP, do the math. If you can get a full ride with a better LSAT score, that's like making $100,000 next year. Let's say you got accepted at your #1. If somebody offered you a one-year gig that payed $100,000, would you ask the school for a deferment? If your answer is yes (and it should be), then you should retake.

Congrats on a fine LSAT performance and what appears to be a strong start to an impressive cycle via your WL at Hofstra. See my post in "choosing a law school" praising hofrstra's renowned placement into Miami big law. No need to retake. You don't need scholarship money and will be able to pay off 200k in debt in no time thanks to RU Newark's great opportunities in international law.

Hope this helps!
