Got the W&M acceptance email 4 days after my application status changed to complete. My question is: what are my chances of $$? Does the quick turnaround suggest they liked my application or not necessarily?

The answer will come in the admission packet ("in the mail"), but I leave for home in 2 days. So there's a chance I may have to wait a month to find out while it sits in my campus mailbox... hence the forum post lol.

Tough to tell from LSN. Someone with your LSAT and a GPA .07 lower got $30,000, but two people with slightly higher GPAs got waitlisted (NB: one of those waitlisters is probably a flame or something, since she's supposedly a 3.92/164 URM who got rejected from ASU and ND, and her account name seems to be an advertisement for a blog). I think you're just going to have to wait it out, sorry.

I feel like W&M is less predictable than some of the others, but FWIW, I have a point higher GPA/point lower LSAT and got $14k a year (I'm OOS). Good luck! I know the waiting will be rough, but you could be coming back to nice surprises from break (at least this is what I tell myself).

Ended up with $12k/year (OOS). That's ok but I'd probably rack up over $100k worth of debt in 3 years... If I can't negotiate, maybe they'd be open to me deferring? A year of work would help a lot.

With that GPA, the year would be much better spent retaking the LSAT and getting more scholarships at lower ranked schools/getting into better ones. A few more points could get you a full-ride at schools like that or easily into the T14.

It sounds like your GPA and LSAT are fairly competitive for money, but you really should negotiate even if they do not provide you, up-front, with a scholarship.
