Re: 3.2/153 Vet
I would consider retaking and trying to get UT or Vandy. The GPA might be a limitation (not sure if they have GPA floors) but I would say it's worth the shot, especially since it's being paid for. But if you don't want to retake, I suppose Texas Tech wouldn't be terrible considering you would finish with no debt.
Good luck, and thanks for your service.

would smu be paid for, or is it state only schools? Yeah, might as well since it'll be free. I don't know much about Tech and how it places for jobs, but being a vet puts you towards the front of the line for govt jobs...that being said, there are a lot of vets out there.

Tech doesn't place well. But if it's free, that's a decent deal. I'd retake personally, but its up to you. The vet soft will serve you well.MrPapagiorgio wrote:I would consider retaking and trying to get UT or Vandy. Vet will get you preference for federal government jobs (maybe state) and especially JAG. Aside from the elite government jobs, the federal (and state) government cares not to care as much about pedigree as private employers. Good luck and thank you for your service.
