3.34/152 Finance for Rutgers Newark
UGPA - 3.34, LSAT - 152.
Living in NJ and wanting to apply to Rutgers-Newark Law, this is Rutgers 25/75 Percentiles...
25% / 75% GPA: 3.61 / 3.17
25% / 75% LSAT: 160 / 155
I'm a Finance/Global Supply Chain Management major graduating with my Bachelor's in May with a lot of Internship experience on Wall Street, at Johnson & Johnson and other companies and I've also founded my own Non-Profit. I'm hoping that being a different major with combined Business/Law aspirations will help compensate for my low LSAT score. Is Rutgers out of my reach cause of my LSAT?

I dont think its in the cards. You may get WL'd. However, the RU-N app has a selection where you can request to be evaluated primarily on your soft factors. For sure choose that.

Thank you for the feedback! I most definitely am going to ask they put more emphasis on my soft factors...I hope with that emphasis on my strengths I'll be able to get in, but as you said, it just may not be in the cards.

Being at the 25th percentile for any school's LSAT score is risky..being three point below it almost guarantees not just a WL, but a denial. Are you a URM?

Not helpful. Op, I'd also considering applying part time as medians are usually lower.WSJ_Law wrote:enjoy cooley or nova
Would you consider a retake?

No, I'm not a URM so I know it's a real stretch and yes, I would definitely consider retaking.
I wanted to avoid doing so...but it seems that there's no way around it. Thank you again for the advice!!
