Is there a way to search for users with C&F issues? Or does anyone have links to some profiles I can stalk. I had a misdemeanor arrest (no conviction) that was expunged about 3 years ago and just went to look and see how C&F issues have effected some peoples cycles.

As long as you fully disclose it, then it really isn't an issue. People have gotten into law school with some pretty terrible things on their records, trust me.

Thanks for the quick response. I fully disclosed it on every application, even those in which it may have not been required.

Tulane has a 1L who is a convicted murderer.
You'll be fine as long as you disclose.

merit scholarship offers are given based on your ability to help their usnwr rankings or make the class more diverse. Both of these goals are accomplished regardless of an expunged misdameanor conviction. Therefore: If it doesn't stop you from getting it, it certainly won't stop you from schollie of any kind.

I think it also depends on the moral turpitude. If you are arrested for shoplifting/forgery/etc, it raises eyebrows even if the charges were dismissed. Most law students manage to make it to law school w/o being charged w/ these crimes, so a decent explanation for why you were arrested is necessary.

Based on your avatar I was hoping for some more exciting c&f issues than that.

the convicted murderer is on a merit scholarship from tulane and on a scholarship from the naacp, despite the fact that he isn't black. you'll be fine, especially since an arrest =/= a conviction:) good luck with ur cycle!

Thanks for all the replies on this thread. For anyone else in my shoes so far I've gotten in everywhere I applied (7 schools) with money, if you have any questions specifically feel free to PM me.
