Reverse Splitter - T14 - Strategy?

LSAT: 168
LSDAS GPA: 3.98
Non-URM

Just got my first LSAT score this week; it was on the lower end of my practice test range, but not outrageously low. I definitely felt like it would be higher than that coming out of the test, though.

My question is how to go about my applications. It seems to me like I should probably retake, but I wonder how much not applying until the end of December will affect my chances...? Should I submit applications to places I'm more certain of getting into? And roughly where would that line be? I'm reluctant to ED somewhere because if my retake goes well, I'd really like to try my chances at HYS...

As for other info, I have good letters of recommendation, but in general I don't think my softs would impact my admissions too much either way. I'm also not interested in waiting a full cycle to go to law school.

Advice? Thanks in advance!

I'd retake it. Don't ED.
