Just took the October test and scored a 166. My initial plan was to ED to Texas, but I'm now wavering since my LSAT was a few points lower from what I was expecting. I should also add that a December test will be my third time taking the test - I scored a 165 my first time.

Should I take the test in December to earn these few extra points? Apply now and pray? Or should I just spend the year gaining experience to have better softs?

Any advice is appreciated.

I'm just saying

I would wait a year and retake. No real downside to it, and you may score higher and/or gain some valuable experience. Good luck
