Applying with a pending retake

My October LSAT score was a bit lower than I was expecting, and now I need to readdress the situation. I still plan on applying this week to some of my safety and 50/50 schools. I expect an improved December LSAT will increase scholarship negotiations at the safeties and help move me off the waitlist at the 50/50s.

However, I am still not sure how to proceed with my reach school applications.
Do I submit now, hoping they do not auto-reject me when they see a pending LSAT date – perhaps including an addendum explaining the pending retake?
Do I apply in January when I get my revised score but know my application is late?
Would submitting applications around Thanksgiving/early December be the best bet since schools will not be asked to hold my application for as long and I am still not considered late?
