Need some sound advice

Post by schizoapplixant » Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:58 pm

Okay guys,
I am a URM (african american male) with a 159 LSAT and a 3.03 undergrad GPA. I really need help figuring out my application range. I know there is this myth of a urm boost but it seems as if it is so variable. Some notable things are my first 2 years of college were bad but I worked hard and retook classes (cost me an extra year) to end up getting a 3.5 gpa my trend for the last 3 years was 3.2, 3.8, 3.9. Unfortunately lsac doesn't forgive retaking a failed class so my gpa is only 3.03. I went on to get my masters at NYU and received a 3.954 gpa while working fulltime. . Lastly been working for a non profit the last 2 years which deals with diversion of mentally ill offenders at the Bronx Supreme Courthouse. Also I'm 25 if that means anything. I'd appreciate brutally honest posts. Thanks, J
