I don't think it will if you were cleared, but make sure you properly disclose it and give all the information regarding it. If you are borderline with someone else it will be a disadvantage, but your LSAT score is high for the schools you mentioned.

OP: If you were cleared, then why will the charge appear on your transcript ?

In rereading your original post in this thread, it seems as though you were cleared of "intent" but found guilty of plagarism for failure to cite the source. Is this correct ?

Yes, this is correct.

More details are needed in order to offer meaningful advice. For example, how long & detailed was the uncited quote ? Did you arrive at a plea argreement or can you still challenge the finding of guilty on the lesser offense ?
At the very least, law schools will expect an addendum detailing the situation. And, also at the very least, it won't help.

Write an addendum and make sure to disclose it when asked about academic penalties or probation and your fine. You might have problems later on passing C&F later if you don't since I'm sure there is records of it or it might even be noted on your transcript.

I wouldn't even think of trying to hide it. I was wondering if I should write an addendum though, since they ask you to explain it within the application.

So many cliches. But honesty is the best policy.

Failure to cite the source of the birthdates of historical figures seems more worthy of point reductions on an assigned class paper rather than a plagarism charge. There must be more to the charged offense; otherwise, it's making a mountain out of a molehill. Are you willing to share more details ? Or was the charge/charges just for failure to cite the source of historical dates ?
