I want to stay in the OK/TX area, and am pretty positive I can get in to all the Oklahoma schools. However, SMU is my first choice. I know the GPA is a bit low, and I am coming from Southwestern OK State for undergrad(not exactly a top school) but I also was a missionary for 3 years (lots of travel and service). What are my chances at either of these schools?

If you are a resident of TX, I'd say you have a great shot at UT. If not, you still have a pretty good shot. Every other school you mentioned, you will certainly get into.

In at SMU with $$. Texas is much less certain.

I was 166/3.5 last year and got 75K from SMU. They gave that scholarship to all sorts of people with numbers around yours.
