Top Law Schools

How solid of a soft is research on a law-related topic (in this case, International Law)? I know softs aren't major factors in the admissions process, but I'm just curious because I've been offered a research position by a former professor.

It won't get you in to a school by itself. It's still an LSAT/GPA game. Take the position if it interests you, but don't expect it to have any impact on law school admissions.
