2010 grad with 3.68 GPA at top 10 undergrad institution
October 2010 - 167
June 2011- 172
Worked for about a year consulting, quit my job currently bumming around doing nothing lol.
Don't want to waste money on any backup applications if I don't have to (hence the question in title)
What are my chances at:

CCN ED? ( I know chances are slim, but which one would give me best chance of acceptance?)
Michigan
Virginia
Penn
Duke
Berkeley
Cornell
Georgetown

Ask for fee waivers. I got several at T14 schools just by asking. (Before I even had an LSAT score actually.)

NYU is the most formulaic of the CCN triumvirate, so an ED app there is probably the surest in that range. I think your odds with ED are pretty good at Columbia and Chicago as well. Only ED if one of these is your dream school and you can afford sticker. Otherwise, you will have some great $$ offers within the T-14.

Zero chance of completely missing out on the T-14 unless you have serious C&F issues.

Why the hell would you quit a job in consulting? I can almost guarantee that you will have made more here than you will in practicing law when factoring in opportunity costs and the cost of education.

Thanks for the response. I quit my job well because I hated it its that plain and simple. I was thinking NYU would have the best chance of ED too but then I read that they average LSAT scores which would actually put me in the worst position. 169.5 certainly would be put me out of reach, so I'm not sure about that route anymore.

They don't, I'm pretty clear evidence of that (164/172, 3.5)

Oh they average the scores when they report them? That's big of them!

Ok so that was sarcastic if you couldn't tell. They may say they average but with a 172 on the books you should definitely apply and even Ed if it's your dream school/willing to pay sticker.
