170 / 3.7 Latino, chances?

Hi all,

I scored a 170 on the June LSAT and recently received notification of my 3.67 LSAC GPA. I was born in Colombia and my family immigrated to the US when I was in elementary school (will probably mention this experience in PS). Now I am a dual citizen. Went to undergrad at a large public university. I did two study abroad programs and was decently involved on campus.

Wondering what my chances are, and whether there's a chance of $.

Any input is appreciated.

Unfortunately, only Puerto Ricans and Mexicans get the big URM boost from law schools. I tend to think that being "other" Latino may help a little bit (as compared to being white or asian), but not enough to help you outperform your numbers significantly.

That being said, you have a good LSAT score and solid GPA and regardless of any boost, you should get in somewhere in the lower T14. If you put together a strong application I think you'll be fine.

Good luck!
