Hi,

What are my chances of getting accepted to Cornell with a 168 LSAT, 3.60, BUT applying really late december/early January? Would it differ significantly compared to applying in late October?

You're like right on the WL/accept border...and a late app probably puts you right there on the WL side of it.

Also, Cornell is really bad with turnaround on applications. If you do not apply EA (which you would not be able to do that late), you're in even worse shape. If this cycle repeats itself, with an app after Christmas, expect to get a WL in late April, which you'll have to ride out if Cornell is what you want.

Thanks man.. I was wondering about applying in late December because I'm retaking the LSAT in December. I got a 160 the first time without much studying.

Do you think it would help me at all if I applied with my old score in October but tell them to wait until my December score? Would that make a difference at all?

So you haven't gotten the 168 yet?

FWIW, I applied in January and got waitlisted in mid-May. Just FYI.

This poster's username is an apt commentary on your asking re: chances OP.
