In hopes of getting into Oklahoma

Okay so here's the deal i have a UG Gpa of 3.0, which could possibly drop some with the LSAC calculations, im due to take the lsat this coming OCT. University of Oklahoma is at top of my list some may say it is not a good school at all but i would like attend my uncles law school Alma Mater , Just looking for some input on about how high of lsat i will have to score to have to get in . Have heard nothing but good things about OU



Bachelors of Science
graduated in 3 years
Urm status
and have a LOR from alumni

As a URM any score in the mid 150s should get you in.

Thank you for the info i originally intended to attend Vet school but came to enjoy the legal profession.

Second choices - Texas Tech, LSU , Michigan State, Ole Miss and some others

2) Not only is there no 'biglaw' in OK, but the midlaw firms that do exist are not hiring, especially 1Ls. Whereas 10-15 1Ls got paid work (~$1200/wk) in recent years, 3 did this year. All have prior contacts and/or have passed the patent bar. 2L hiring is bleak as well. As of today, less than 20% of our 3L class has a job offer.

Yes i do have a job lined up working along side my uncle , he has multiple offices

Well if you have a job lined up (as in, it's a certainty) and you know it will pay your student loans then go for it. Just be sure it's what you really want.

For realsies though, mid-high 150s and you're probably good.
