Chances for admission after a prior acceptance?

I was accepted at the law school of my choice. I have decided to pursue a graduate degree instead, but am still considering the option of going to law school after I graduate. My question is this: when (or if) I reapply for admission at a later date, will having been accepted once before improve my chances for admission the second time? Thanks in advance.

It's not like a soft, "oh he/she got a previous acceptance, let's throw him/her another." But obviously if your numbers were good enough before, they'll likely be again. And doing the graduate degree will be helpful because you can concisely explain why you didn't attend when you were accepted the first time. I think you'll have a good chance.
