Upward trending, with one semester's exception that can be explained (no sob story but ties into my overall application theme). I've been working for a year at a tech startup in a decently impressive position, decided to quit and now I'm working at a center that teaches cognitive skills to those who need it so I'll have been working for 2 years by the time I begin classes in Fall 2012. I'm big on public service, so I'm hoping that will help my application.
I've taken some practice LSATS (3 now) - I'm taking the real one Oct. 1st - and they've all been above 170. I'm still studying every day so I'm shooting for a 175+
Here's my list, in order of preference (yes, I know, ND is ranked lower than Northwestern by numbers, but I love their programs)
1. Notre Dame (applying ED)
2. Northwestern
3. Cornell/Georgetown
4. George Washington
5. Fordham
6. University of Washington
Sorry for the essay, but what are my chances? Oh, and I'm non-URM. Thanks so much!

Figure your hypothetical chances out yourself at http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com and what does the bolded even mean?Publicinterest12358 wrote:OK I did a bunch of research into Northwestern vs. Notre Dame, turns out my initial look didn't give enough cred to the study abroad and community aspects of the school - plus I wasn't thinking of EDing because I didn't think I had a great shot. Given this list, can I still get chances? I'd prefer something like a percentage chance I'll get in for each - so I can know if I should be shooting lower for a safety. Thanks everyone for the feedback! And while I *would* post after my LSAT that's not happening until Oct. 1st, and I need to prep all my materials as far ahead as possible.
True. Of those youre applying to you have the best shot at NU, which is the best of those schools. You should also send an app to WUSTL so you have T20 school with nice scholarship as a backup option.ndirish2010 wrote:Honestly, with a 2.8/170+, you have a better shot of getting into NU with WE than ND anyway.

Sorry I was just making an attempt at a sarcastic joke. Since the OP asked for specific %s (not accurate, but exactly what LSP is built for), and then the other as describing LSN. Who are you? what are your stats?
