I want to apply for admission into the January 2012 program at Cardozo.
Graduated UG this past May - 3 years experience and continuing as a paralegal - 3.46 - 168
Chances at admission/scholly?

Those numbers are too good for Cardozo. You could get money at Fordham or go to most T25s with those numbers.

I got 22,500 a year with a 3.3 167. You'll get money. That being said, you can do much better and I wouldn't advise you to go to Cardozo if you can do better.

I have only a slightly higher GPA and the same LSAT and got a full ride at Cardozo. Just make you sure you express interest in attending, or they may waitlist you.

Slightly higher GPA and 2 pts lower on the LSAT...got 80+% schollie.
Don't go to Cardozo anyway, BC, BU, GWU with money are possible.

I forgot to say...scholarships at Dozo only apply if you apply for the REGULAR CYCLE ONLY.

1) Work for another year, earn $$
2) Take October LSAT, try to move up a few points
3) If you improve, apply to CN, along with Northeast T30s
4) Enjoy CN (if you improve) or Fordham/BC/BU/GW with $ (or $$$ if you improve)
5) Profit

Agreed. They likely won't dole out any money to those who matriculate in January. If you really want Cardozo, you should wait and apply early for the next fall cycle, since those numbers will almost certainly secure a substantial scholarship there.

It's not likelihood or not. They simply do not offer schollies for anything but the regular cycle. Period.

How do you know? I just tried calling admissions to get an answer and am waiting to hear back.

No offense but any reason you have to attend Cardozo in January is probably not a good enough one to warrant choosing that over applying to other schools during regular admissions.

This is actually not true. I called the admissions office and left a voicemail with this very question, and received an e-mail yesterday stating that Cardozo DOES offer merit scholarships for both fall and January admission, because both admission dates are considered full time.
