New poster here...Was wondering what my realistic chances of getting into a school like Tulane are with these numbers. I have a weak upward trend in grades due mostly to my first two years as a biology major. I have also interned at a law firm in new orleans as well as held many leadership positions on campus. I am looking at
1. Tulane
2. LSU
3. Loyola
4. Arkansas-Little Rock
5. Arkansas- Fayetteville

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

I would also add that the law firm internship was an full time administrative one for a full year. Not sure if that matters.

Retake. You won't get Tulane, and the others aren't worth going to at sticker, if you get in.

1. Very bleak. All kinds of people with numbers similar to and better than yours were rejected. One person with the same LSAT and a 2.61 was accepted, but that could be URM. Looks like out.
2. Slightly better, still very low odds.
3. Out.
4. Low odds but looks okay. There was a 2.6 164 accepted, and a 2.72/161. That looks like a target.
5. No idea.

He'd mostly likely get into either Little Rock or Loyola, but they're both TTT. He might even get some money at UA: Little Rock
but that's just based on LSN self-reporting so idk

I figured as much for Tulane, I know that would be an extreme reach. I also meant Loyola-New Orleans, which I should have clarified. Not sure if that's why you said Out. I know people who did not get into LSU but got into L-NO so I am a little puzzled by that. I assume you thought I meant the more prestigious Loyola. Thanks for your response, though.

You should consider SMU. LSN has a handful of people with your numbers getting in. If you're trying to get back to the Ark-La-Tex area it will carry you there. I don't know if it would help you get to Southern Louisiana.

That is an interesting thought. I kind of assumed SMU was out of the realm of possibility but looking at lawschoolnumbers has me considering applying now. I really would like to go to schools with connections in the NOLA, Little Rock, Baton Rouge, or Fayetteville, AR areas. Memphis and Dallas being other areas I am open too.

Thanks for the tip.
