What are my chances for RD or ED NYU as it is my dream school?

In the TLS law schools' profiles section, NYU states that it averages multiple LSAT scores. If this is still accurate--and it may not be--then your chances are slim.

What prompted you to retake a 171 ?

probably HYS. I'd actually recommend a 4th retake with a lot of studying to beat the 171. Right now, it looks like the 167 is the most legitimate score.
