Have you considered one last retake? It might just give you that bump that you need.

They're probably not going to be crazy about your LSAT score range getting objectively worse than one that already got you waitlisted. I'd say WL/out at all 3; your numbers got worse and have established one hell of a pattern, as well as whatever assumptions the schools will draw from a file when someone took the LSAT 6 times.

i can understand the appeal to retake with the gpa though as literally 2 points would have worked for columbia, and maybe one of HYS. i agree rretaking a 171 would be dumb with a 3.5, but here it makes sense.

this might explain the drop in LSAT points

Have you considered taking 1-2 years off, retaking the LSAT for a final time, and trying again?

Having either increased work experience or a graduate degree may help you, and it will show commitment to improving your status as a law applicant.

Honestly, the declination in your LSAT scores does not work in your favor, even with the 171.

An alternative would also be to not aim for a T-14, maybe T-30 and you'd get scholarship money?

I don't know what the best thing is to do, but I would opt for taking some time away from the cycle.

This is so retarded. You got into Chicago and NYU and still weren't satisfied? Geez, what a prestige whore...

So you got two of the T-6 and thought taking the LSAT 4 more times was the answer?

I'm not sure if this is the best idea...6 scores is more than enough IMO.

OP, ED to one of CCN, that doesn't have a reputation for averaging LSAT scores, only if you're willing to pay sticker; I was under the impression that NYU still averages... could be wrong.

That is as bad as, if not worse of than, turning down 2 T-6s in hopes of moar prestige elsewhere.

If this is not a flame.....seriously? how lucky did you think you were going to get? Especially once you get into the 170's, it starts to become more and more of a situational/luck thing unless you are a really great test taker/studied your ass off. Which brings me to ask...what did you do the first time that you didn't do all the other times? I hope you and that gf are still together.....
