Dec08 graduation from a t30. Full time waiter/asst manager at a restaurant for a year, and then full time SAT teacher/admissions consultant in China for a year.

The biggest question I guess is... where do I use my ED? I really want C or N in NYC although they're long shots, and I plan to apply to the rest of the t14 excluding duke+berkeley.

Another question is does my work experience count towards the 2-yrs W.E. that schools such as Northwestern are known to like?

Yes your work experience will count as work experience that schools like Northwestern, and, um...other schools like.

Your split is not common enough to make definitive predictions, but use law school numbers to get a feel for your ED chances at Columbia and NYU. I'd say Columbia is highly unlikely, and chances are a bit better at NYU, but still not great. 180/3.34 got into NYU this past cycle.

You may want to consider not EDing. The boost exists, but isn't huge, and you give up all your choice.

I think T14 carpet is a good idea. Not sure about CCN ED, I don't know anything about that.

Maybe ED to Chicago. Your W/E meets NU's requirements but it won't be a good soft factor because you worked at shit jobs. But since NU isn't holistic, you should be fine. You'll get in RD.

ED to Penn. That's your safest and best shot. Columbia's riskier, but possible.

Hey thanks for the response. Would you elaborate on the reasoning behind ED chicago? I have not researched them too much and don't know their priorities too well.

I just saw a couple doods on LSN who got Uchi with a poor GPA but a killer LSAT this year.

Hey, we're #s twins! I would say ED to NYU if you want it, as long as you would be happy with one of the lower T14 if you miss. Be prepared to ride waitlists.
