Top Law Schools

I have a bad undergrad GPA, 3.3, but have been working for 2 years at a major firm in SF. Also worked and fundraised for a non profit immigration legal center from which i got a letter of rec from a Stanford law alum. I have 2 other good letters of rec, from an employer and from a professor. I'm a URM, Mexican, and i got a 172 on the LSAT. My reaches are HYS but I'm also looking at USC and Cornell. What do you guys think my chances are?

I think that your chances are very excellent at Cornell & USC, and worth applying to any school of interest to you. Handicapping chances at Yale & Stanford is difficult since they are small law schools which seem to pay a great deal of attention to other factors once your numbers get you into serious consideration. And, as a URM with an LSAT of 172 and a decent GPA, you should be seriously considered for admission. In short, apply & see what develops.

Choosing schools based on ideological bent? Can't say it's the first time but it is always lolworthy.

Then go to Berkeley. Or NYU.

You think you have a chance at HYS but no chance at NYU and Berkeley? What the fuck?
