167 3.6 URM (AA) at T-14 / T-4

I got my LSAT back today, a rather disappointing 167. I know *everyone* says this, but I believe I possess the potential to score several points higher.
My question is: how much would my LSAT have to improve for me to have a solid chance of landing a spot at HYS, and the rest of the T-14 (am planning to rewrite the test in DEC to take advantage of the more forgiving curve). I intend to apply not this coming fall, but the Fall of 2012.

I strongly recommend against taking December for this reason. The curve might be more forgiving (not sure if this is actually try) but a -13 or -14 curve test isn't objectively any easier than -8 or -9 test, since the curve is constructed in such a way as to make the make each scaled score roughly correspond to the same percentile across administrations. Stated more simply: A test where -8 = 170 and a test where -14 = 170 are both going to have a 170 be the 97th percentile.

Doesn't matter when you retake, but if there ever was a candidate for retaking, you'd be it. If you hit your PT average, you'll get H.

Thanks for the encouragement!

. I think testing stamina had a little to do with my drop. It's important not to take excessive breaks between tests.
