You scored higher on the test than on any PT's?

How long did you study for? How did you study? The LSAT is learnable, but if you score higher on the actual than on PT's, re-taking might not be the best option. Check the LSAT Study forum for some good guides on how to study and see how closely you followed them.

GW is completely out, sadly.

Study your ass off for October and retake it...Worst case is you get a lower score, write an addendum, and every school will just count the 162 anyway. I have a sub 3.0 gpa and retook from a 162 to a 169 last year and it got me into my dream (realistic) school.

If you can't do any better and want DC, you'll probably get American...but that at anywhere near sticker is just gross
