177/3.35/non-URM

Must be eastern half of country; east of mississippi, with borderline schools being ok. Would rather not live in a city.

What would be the best school I would have a shot of getting in to? How about the best one I'd be an auto-admit at?

Where would you be applying if you were in this situation?

If I were you, I'd ED to one of CCN (count on sticker though). Decent shot at snagging MVP.

LSN would provide you real data points instead of anecdotes and opinions. Search here on TLS too. People with your numbers broke into T6 this year.

Do you think this shows the number of applicants is finally dropping, or at least staling?

Well, there were media reports that total applications were down at close to 12% this year. And as per various threads, waitlists this year have been more active at a number of T10 schools compared to last year.
