AA Male 2.7, 160
I'll be retaking the LSAT hoping to get a 165. What are my chances at these schools? Which one would you go to if it were down to these two?

Check out lawschoolpredictor.com.
Even with a 2.7, you could get 120k out of IU-B. (Given that you're debating USF and Miami, you don't seem to care much about region.) Outside the T-14 though, most schools place grads in their region, so you should consider where you want to live after law school in choosing a school.

Where do you want to work? That being said, USF is a pretty awful school and UMiami isn't much better.

I want to live and practice law in either CA or FL....I'm from DC so I wouldn't mind looking back home for law schools. But CA is ideal for me.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend CA. NorCal schools that you can get into are pretty bad (USF/SCU) because they are placing only about 1/4 of their graduates in full time jobs as lawyers (source: http://www.lawschooltransparency.com) and the SoCal schools you could get into (Loyola/Pepperdine) have stipulations on their scholarships such that you have a higher chance of losing your scholarship than you do of keeping it.Mr.JD2015 wrote:I want to live and practice law in either CA or FL....I'm from DC so I wouldn't mind looking back home for law schools. You really should be looking at the school that will give you the most amount of scholarship money with minimal or no stipulations, and is still decent for the area you want. If you want FL then UF and FSU are definitely worth apps as well but I have no idea how UF/FSU/UM are with their scholarship stipulations.
