Sounds like you have great softs, but Duke is probably a no go at those numbers. Any possibility for a retake?

Considering taking the October. Any idea on the numbers needed for a successful ED Duke candidate?

<--- successful Duke ED applicant with 170, 3.49
You have solid (though not game-changing) softs, but your GPA isn't doing you any favors. You'll need an LSAT at or above median (170) to be competitive.

since you're below both medians, i think the only game changing soft is URM status
you need a 170+ on the LSAT to have a realistic chance

I guess I could try and win a nobel peace prize between now and November.

3 more points on the LSAT would probably be easier to achieve

You will not get into Duke with those numbers--Im sure the poetry is great and you are a fine athlete--but if you are not URM you will not get in--sorry. If you have residency in Virginia or Michigan you may try to ED to UVA or Mich and have some chance--otherwise you need to hit a 170 with that GPA...Good Luck!

You'll also need a sweet over the shoulders pink sweater and Aryan features.
Sorry bb, I've always wanted to write that
