Howdy all
Wondering bout my chances for law school this coming cycle
Numbers are 3.3 GPA and a 166 LSAT.
GPA notes: Decent upward trend and I had alot of other things going on in college that I think help explain less that amazing grades.
Softs are probably a bit more exciting than normal, and I'll have been out of school for 3 years by the time I start law school. A range of interesting jobs, but nothing amazing.
URM status: I qualify as an "other" hispanic. I know this boost is hard to quantify but alot of the schools I'm looking at have low minority populations which might help
I'm also a CO resident
I'd like to attend school in the Rocky mountain west, or maybe the west coast and figuring out scholarship money is a huge concern.
Here are the schools I'm looking at applying to:
Colorado (probably my #1)
Utah
ASU
Arizona
DU (?) if they give me a full ride I guess it could be a bargaining chip for scholly money
Here are my questions:
1) what are my odds of getting money from any of those schools/acceptance?
2) Would retaking the LSAT really help my odds of scholarship money seeing as its already a few points above the median at all these schools?
3) Any other schools I should think about in terms of negotiating aid?
thanks
