Thanks for the input. Wish I could erase freshman year GPA.

You are wasting your ED chances with Northwestern, a 169 and 3.6 is one LSAT point too low and .2 GPA too low to get in...if you had a 170 or a 3.8+ youd most likely get in with ED (maybe not though) but without either your chances are extremely slim....I agree with the poster about Michigan with a very compelling why Michigan essay--they seem to like TFA and also have a significantly bigger class size to make room with non-ideal US News applicants--unfortunatley for NU you miss their target numbers for ED in every way--despite it only being a single point its most likely a waster of an ED
UVA ED is alos probably a waste too unless in state---but if you apply there on day 1 you can then ED elsewhere if not admitted.
TFA, masters, all great but do nothing for US News rankings--sorry,
Best chance at T14 is UVA ED, then when waitlisted (90% chance) then ED to Michigan...hit 170 its a different story
P.S. they also have plenty of TFA/Masters apps with 3.9+ gpas and/or 170+ LSATS...TFA isnt as unique as it once was...

If your number #1 choice is NU ED, you need to retake. You have very little chance at 169. With a 170 you have a shot and with a 171 you have a good chance. 172+ is a lock.

Re: 3.6, 169, TFA
Thanks for the input. I know I'm a bit short at Northwestern, but I'd really like to be in Chicago. I would consider re-taking, but considering the amount of time TFA requires, I don't feel like I'd be able to prepare very well. I'm concerned I'd score around the same.
That being said, I may consider taking a couple of practice exams to see where I'm at now. Thanks again.
