Hoping for HYSCCN. Will go to the best school that takes me regardless of $

What is my best shot? Do I have any shot at HYS?

HYS are probably out. CCN is your target. MVP with serious cash.

Sorry guys. Not interested in a PS critique. I posted in the "What are my chances" section with a title reading "what are my options."

I'm confident in the PS that I have, and now I'm curious what TLSers think my chances are.

Nevertheless, I want to read your PS.

Law School Predictor has you as a "deny" at Yale and Harvard, and a "consider" at SCCN.

According to the entire pool of LSP data (not just for YHSCCN applicants), "deny" correlates with a rejection 90% of the time and "consider" correlates with an acceptance 50% of the time.

According to LSN, only one non-URM was accepted to Stanford this year with a GPA below a 3.8 (regardless of LSAT score).

+1

You'll probably get into at least one of CCN, but probably at sticker. Probably get Michigan and Penn with some $$, but maybe not Virginia unless you are resident or ED.

Oh, and nobody really cares about your PS.

Same LSAT higher GPA. Nothing is a sure thing. Apply to all but expect some WL and denies. You will likely get some $, but again, not a sure thing. Good luck.

Ya, those were basically my numbers, I got into Columbia and NYU of those 6. I also had a 173.

Retake. I wish I had, you only get better the more you take it. Right?

Yeah, it is a significant difference, but the point was more that I had CCN numbers (not HYS) with a 173. And the OP has a 172.

I personally wish I'd retaken, I'm pretty sure I could've tacked a couple more points onto that score.
