May be interested in pursuing law, but still exploring options.
What level of law school can I expect to look into?

major: biochemistry, minor: economics
1 year research
2 summer internships,
volunteer abroad
quarter as teaching assistant

Anything else I can do to boost my application?

Only significant boost would be to retake. Right now you're looking at T25-30 territory unless you're URM.

Your chances are good at WUSTL. You can write a good essay and apply early as well, that should help your chances.

Hm, what kind of LSAT score would be necessary to get into the T20- range?

I wouldn't say OP's chances at WUSTL are good. It seems that they are trying to raise that LSAT median this year and 167.3.5s aren't good as they used to be in previous years.

I think you have a decent shot at GW right now but for WUSTL and up you're literally looking at one more point (168+).

so basically, if I were to get 170, would that be enough to get into t-14, 15 range?

I would say you have a solid chance at Cornell, Vandy, USC, and perhaps GULC if you apply early. Believe it or not that 3 point difference from a 167 to a 170 is phenomenal.

Yup. Here are some ballpark neighborhoods where you would have an ok shot
168 - WUSTL
169 - Cornell. GULC
170 - Michigan

I'm not mentioning schools like UCLA, USC, and Texas because they seem to be very GPA heavy. You would probably have to have a significantly higher LSAT to be competitive for those schools, despite their comparatively lower ranking (e.g., you could probably get Cornell easier than UCLA).

Thanks for the replies guys. If i took the October LSATs this year, would it be bad to submit the application later? (I looked, and most schools start accepting oct 1st). or should I just take the June one?

Whichever date you feel that you will be sufficiently ready by.

Not to be a downer, but pretty much every > 3 > 168 who applied to WUSTL got in and at least a half ride, whereas plenty of 167s were outright denied/WL'd. They're serious about that 168 median.

BC/BU might bite...you are slightly below median for GPA but above 75th %ile for LSAT.

not true. OP would have gotten 120k to IU: B. He might also have pulled Wash U. From 20-25, he'd be >50% at each.

You are a decent bet for WUSTL-20, which are only two schools.

If you want USC or above, you need a point or two more on the LSAT. UCLA is not kind to 3.5's, nor is Vandy or Texas. I'd argue you have a better shot at lower t-14 than those schools with a retake.

Right now, you'd be dinged at Vandy, UCLA and USC unless they love your PS, which of course is the most subjective part of admissions so is hard to bet on.

IUB, Illinois and ND are good shots. You'll need a point or two for WUSTL and 169+ for T14

I can't believe I got reserved with a 3.6+/168 (last cycle). Ok, I applied February 5th, but still...

Minn - 20k/yr
