Top Law Schools

Hey all,

I plan on applying very early next cycle. I am an African American male and my numbers are 158/162/3.75. I have great softs, gonna spend all summer rewriting my PS and i have decent work experience. Im from NY and I want to work here after law school, however i am willing to study out of state. I will be applying to most schools from T30 and up.


My question is where should I ED? Although my top choices are NYU & Columbia, I wouldnt want to waste an ED at a school that I likely wouldnt get into.

Also, i may do a final retake but please assume that I will not be retaking in this scenerio.

If you really have to ED, then ED Columbia -- you have a chance there.

I think you have a chance at Columbia or NYU. AA Males are pretty tough to predict, but you have a pretty good GPA and sometimes those top schools will take some pretty low LSAT scores (even lower than 158) on for AAs. If you really do have great softs, decent work experience, and can write a moving PS, I think you have a chance at one of those two schools.

Don't ED. 3.75/162 AA Male has a great shot at both NYU and Columbia.
