Horrible undergrad track record

What are my chances of getting into a decent school (Fordham, most likely parttime) with a 2.4 ungrad GPA? I did go to grad school where I ended up with a 3.6 GPA (CS undergrad, IS graduate).
What kind of score would I need to even have a shot at a decent school?

Unfortunately, its going to be REALLY tough. You would have to score a 170+ and spam the entire T1 and pray that you get accepted, let alone with $$$$.

or work for a significant enough amount of time to distance yourself from the grades and display maturity about taking work more seriously. But yeah, you're going to need a super high LSAT.

Oops forgot to mention that I have been working for the past 5 years now.

FWIW, I got into a school ranked in the 50s with a 2.33/166.

2.4/164/URM/non-trad with great work experience here. I got into most of the T2s I applied to, plus American and SMU. I'm also on a few t30 wait lists. I think it will be very difficult, even with urm status, to get into Fordham. I don't know if a 175 would cut it, but it probably would, since you have some distance from your GPA.
Your best bet would be to get at least a 168. That would probably do the trick for select splitter friendly schools like Indiana. 169 would probably net you a good chance at WUSTL. 172 and your best chance would be NW. None of these are a sure thing, but its possible if you put together a very good application.

172+: northwestern
168+: wustl
167+: illinois / minnesota
166+: emory / w&l
164+: gmu, indiana, maybe wake forest
some might be off by a point, and some may no longer be quite as splitter friendly as they were the past two cycles, but you get the idea
edit: I don't know if fordham is very splitter friendly

You should double check the LSAC website, but I *think* they combine your UG and grad GPAs when calculating your LSDAS GPA, which is what schools will look at. Their are calculators online you can use to figure it out, but your LSDAS GPA will be higher than your UG GPA. That might help you a little.

emory I don't know about the others but these were too low and emory won't really take any sub 3.0s. IUB might be up to 167 next year as well.

+1. This is accurate. Try to get a 180, though, you might get T14.

Rock that LSAT Brah.
Some T2's will give a full ride for a 170. A bunch of T1's will give some money. SMU is pretty good about that.
This year, Ill and WUSTL were a little more grad conscious.

I'm not quite sure if any T14 other than NU ED would take OP. Even with NU ED w/ crazy work experience, OP would be far away from a guaranteed acceptance. To be fair, 2.4 is a horrible GPA.

Doesn't have to be crazy w/e. But you gotta rock the LSAT.

How long ago were the bad grades?
I got accepted across T2 with a 2.74 (the bad stuff was from 13 years prior, and I'd finally finished undergrad 1 year prior with straight As) and a 164.
You want to stress how you've grown/changed, etc., in an addendum.

write an addendum and 2.4 is just fine, good enough for most T1 schools

You never know, it could be a mix of A/Bs and D/Fs.
Trust me, it's happened.
