Title pretty much says it - what are my odds at Yale. Or is it pretty much a crapshoot?

Yale is always a bit of a crapshoot, but a 3.9/175 has a good a chance as anybody.

It's impossible to say without more information. Your numbers are in range. Prepare your application well and hope the professors who read it see things the way you do.
