Top Law Schools

I attend a Tier 3 University and have a GPA of 3.76 and 161 LSAT. I would love to attend the University of Michigan Law School, being a Wolverine fan all of my life. I have a cruddy part-time job at the luxurious Taco Bell and my softs are not very strong. I interned for a congressman, participate in my school's honors program, and is the VP of my school's Black Student Union. I am a double major, Political Science and Economics,

I am interested in doing joint JD/MPP or MPA program. The schools of my interest are:

I can only speak to Pitt, as that's where my experience lies, but you're guaranteed about as much money as they have to offer there, even before URM status.

From the Pitt law website:
"Students admitted prior to March 1st earning a high LSAT score of 161 or better and an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.4 (on a 4.0 scale) are guaranteed the Dean's Scholarship." "The minimum award amount starts at $10,000 per academic year with two equal payments of $5,000 per term."

Thanks! I had no idea of the scholarship. I'm really interested in Pitt and their program with Carnegie Mellon, the MS in Public Policy and Management. I don't live too far, about 3 and a half hours. I'll have to come and visit.

in all honesty, it's hard to predict. all URMs are. put together a great application and the sky is the limit. more than likely though, you'll get into a t10 or 2 and hopefully one of them will be M.
